Today I took GBoy for an early birthday treat. He is very fond of wild life, desires a reptile and as with all young boys enjoys the gruesome.
It was a fortuitous Amazon local deal that lead us to Greetham Golf & Country Club for a falconry experience. I have to say I enjoyed it easily as much as he did. I’ve never dealt with owls, buzzards, falconer and eagles before.
They are beautiful, cruel and incredible sculpted creations and the event leader gave an honest and illuminating explanation of the history we have with birds of prey and their nature.

GBoy is also taking a healthy interest in photography and managed to add a good two hundred shots to the camera roll, mainly of me strangely smiling.
